Spot the difference instantly. Our PDF Comparison Tool allows you to upload two versions of a document and visually check for changes, deletions, or layout shifts without printing them out and holding them up to the light.
What is Visual Comparison?
Instead of just checking text, visual comparison (diffing) renders both PDF pages as images and layers them. This helps you see if a paragraph moved 2 pixels down, if a logo was resized, or if a font style was changed—things that text-only comparison tools might miss.
Two Viewing Modes
- Side-by-Side: Places both pages next to each other. Best for reading text changes.
- Overlay (X-Ray): Stacks page B on top of page A. You can use a slider to fade between them, making even the tiniest pixel shift obvious as "movement".
How to Compare Two PDFs
- Upload Original: Drop your older file into the "A" slot.
- Upload New: Drop the revised file into the "B" slot.
- Compare: Click the button to render the visual diff.
- Review: Toggle between Side-by-Side and Overlay modes to find discrepancies.
Perfect For...
- Designers: Checking if the printer's proof matches your design file.
- Legal: Verifying that a contract hasn't been altered between drafts.
- Architects: Comparing two versions of a blueprint or floor plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it highlight changes automatically?
Currently, this is a manual visual tool. You use your eyes to spot changes using the overlay helper.
What if the files have different page counts?
We allow you to navigate pages. If one file is shorter, we'll show a blank page for the missing counterpart.
