What is PDF OCR?

Does it work on handwriting?
Standard OCR is optimized for typed text. Handwritten notes may have lower accuracy depending on legibility.
Why must I select a language?
The engine needs to know which dictionary to use to differentiate between similar-looking characters in different alphabets.
Will the file size increase?
Yes, slightly. Adding text data to the file increases its size. You can use Compress PDF afterwards if needed.
